Hewitt has won a prestigious assignment from the European Union’s executive agency aiming to inform EU policy-makers about supplementary pension plans set up by employers in Europe.

Hewitt is carrying out a study on behalf of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Employment regarding supplementary pensions provision in Europe.

The study will report about national practices on the basis of information gathered directly from companies and organisations that have set up or contribute to pension plans for their employees.

“If you are responsible for pensions in your organisation, Hewitt is requesting you to complete a 15-minute online survey that focuses, in particular, on the acquisition and preservation of employees’ pension rights,” said Philippos Mannaris of Hewitt Associates SA in Cyprus.

Information will be treated in full confidentiality and survey participants will receive a copy of the final report which is designed to help EU policymakers better understand market practices.

The survey will be open until July 27 at http://www.hewitt.com/insight/EC, and can be completed by using the following log in details:

Pension (for user name);
Survey (for the password).
