Ocean Tankers more than doubles its fleet

Ocean Tankers Holdings Public Company Limited announced that on March 1, 2007 it will proceed with the signing of contracts for two additional new-fangled double-inner side tankers of 12,800 tons (its is noted that the capacity of the two new tankers is threefold than the capacity of the two new-flanged tankers that will be received on March 31, 2007 and June 30, 2007 respectively) each, which will be under the Cypriot flag. 

The shipyard with which Ocean Tankers Holdings Public Company Ltd will sign the contracts is STX Shipbuilding Co. Ltd of the Republic of Korea, which is one of the largest in the world.  The building of the two tankers, which will be delivered in the second half of 2008, will start at the signing of the contracts on March 1, 2007. 

The signing will be carried out at the Cyprus Shipping Club on March 1, 2007 at 19.00.  For further information, the shareholders and the competent authorities will receive a special invitation.
