A year after leading independent telco Cablenet and cloud-controlled smart home service provider Plume announced their partnership, adding security and AI-enabled services to the Purple Max internet and mobile bundles, the two are moving to the next ‘big play’ inside the house.

Plume’s founder and CEO Fahri Diner said that, “the triple bundle (telephony, TV, internet) is melting. The next ‘big play’ is inside the house.”

He said that the home experience has evolved and moved on from the home network, to devices and now, to applications.

“We have listened to our 400 customers around the world, including the top telecom service providers in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan. Our five key features now focus on personalisation, protection, privacy, control and simplicity.”

Cablenet CEO Yiannos Michaelides said that the company stepped back and listened to the wants of its subscribers, resulting in a simple approach to all services, price packages and devices.

“Our customer satisfaction has increased, we have doubled our score in eNPS employee experience surveys, doubled our subscriber base in three years to 200,000 and tripled Plume installations to 18,000.”

“This partnership with Plume works. We have the same philosophy,” Michaelides added.
