Cyprus industrial turnover drops 11.7% in July

The Cyprus industrial turnover index for July 2009 reached 144.5 (base 2005=100), recording a decrease of 11.7% compared to July 2008.
For the period January-July 2009, the index recorded a decrease of 10.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.
For manufacturing, the index for July 2009 reached 139.4, recording a decrease of 10.2% compared to July 2008.
