With the new, quiet (22 dB) 450 Watt and 350 Watt Trust power supply units, every user can add the latest components to his or her computer thanks to the compatibility with ATX2.01 12V2, a 24-pin motherboard connection, various S-ATA connections and a 6-pin PCI Express VGA connector.

Many users add new components to their computers, such as a hard drive, DVD writer, sound card or VGA card. It is also becoming increasingly common to replace the motherboard. All of these changes can cause the computer to no longer function correctly. The reason for this is that all these new components require more power, but the existing power supply unit is not able to provide this power.

Trust is adding two power supply units (PSU) to its range, the PW-5200 450W PSU and the PW-5100 350W PSU, which are simple to install.

The stable PW-5200 is a 450 real Watt power supply unit which, thanks to the 120mm fan, is extremely quiet, so the computer can be placed in any room without causing an inconvenience. A total of 13 internal components and the motherboard can be supplied with power. The unit has a 24-pin motherboard connection specially for the latest motherboards, which can easily be converted into a 2-pin connection and a 4-pin 12 V connection. The unit also has six connectors for various peripheral devices, as well as four S-ATA connections for connecting the latest hard drives. The user can also include a PCI Express card in the computer, because the unit has a 6-pin PCIe power connection.

For those who require less power for their computer, there is a 350 real Watt power supply unit, the PW-5100. Two S-ATA hard drives can be connected to this power supply unit that does not have a 6-pin PCIe connection, but, the specifications are the same as the PW-5200.

Both units have a Titanium Black metal design. Ease of use has also been taken into consideration. The cables are kept together by a sheath, so that everything is more conveniently arranged, which improves the internal air flow. The various connectors have a special grip which make it easy for the user to remove the plugs from the connections. Since the fan (1000 – 1700 rpm) responds to the temperature, the speed at which it rotates depends on the number of components which are active and the heat in the computer, which reduces the noise level.

Both power supply units will be available from the beginning of August.

Their recommended retail price, including VAT is EUR 75,90 for the PW-5200 450W and EUR 47,41 for the PW-5100 350W.
