Ocean Tankers releases its time charters of tankers

Ocean Tankers Holdings Public Company Ltd said that the Company’s management achieved the following time charters:

1. Tanker M/T “Eleoussa Trikoukiotissa” renewed the existing time charter with Herning Shipping SA for the next 12 months with a daily charter of $7,500. 

2. The new tanker M/T “Lisa”, the naming ceremony of which took place on Monday, June 11, 2007 in Limassol, has already been time chartered with Herning Shipping SA for four years under the following terms:

a) First period: 2 years – $7500 a day

b) Second period: 1 year – $7600 a day

c) Third period: 1 year – $7950

3. The second new tanker M/T “Marit” that will be delivered to Ocean Tankers in early August 2007 has already been time chartered with Herning Shipping SA under the same terms as M/T “Lisa”. 

It is noted that Herning Shipping SA is one of the most experienced and reliable companies on chemical tankers issues.  The Company is based in Denmark and was established in 1963.
