National Bank of Greece, the country’s biggest lender, will release nine-month results on Monday, a day ahead of schedule because of a reporters' strike on Tuesday.
"National will announce results after the market close today because of the 24-hour journalists' strike on Tuesday," said a NBG official who declined to be named. The Athens stock exchange ends trading at 1515 GMT.
Athens journalists called a 24-hour walkout on Tuesday to protest job and wage cuts as media organisations reduce costs to cope with falling sales.
NBG was seen posting a 76% drop in nine-month profit to 244.3 mln euros, due to weak loan growth and rising bad-loan provisions, a Reuters poll found.
