Three of Cyprus’ beaches in the Ayia Napa-Protaras area have earned prestigious spots among Europe’s top 25 beaches for 2024, with Nissi Beach also raking 22nd worldwide, according to the renowned travel platform Tripadvisor.

Leading the pack is Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa, claiming the seventh spot in Europe and 22nd globally, with its stunning sandy cove, pristine white sand, and vibrant blue waters.

Visitors can partake in water activities like jet-skiing, while children can play in the shallow surf. As the day winds down, breathtaking sunset views await at nearby restaurants.

Fig Tree Bay in Protaras secured 15th spot in Europe, according to Tripadvisor, boasting golden sands and crystal-clear waters ideal for families and snorkeling enthusiasts.

The beach provides convenient facilities such as showers, accessible sunbeds, ample parking, and numerous dining options nearby.

Rounding out the trio is Makronissos Beach, also in Ayia Napa, ranked 18th in Europe.

Renowned for its golden shores, warm waters, and stunning scenery, Makronissos is ideal for sunbathing or enjoying various water activities like swimming and snorkeling.

Three European destinations took top spot in the world.

Praia da Falesia in Portugal’s Algarve region claimed the top spot, followed by Spiaggia dei Conigli in Italy and La Concha Beach in Spain. Notable mentions include Grace Bay Beach in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Anse Lazio in the Seychelles, and Ipanema Beach in Brazil.
