CYPRUS: Blood donation campaign at Hilton Hotel

The Hilton Cyprus hotel, concluded a Blood Donation Campaign for the children with Mediterranean Blood Disorder (Mesogiaki Anemia), under the supervision of the Blood Donation Unit of Cyprus. The mobile Blood Bank came to the hotel and set-up the Ballroom. The volunteers were welcomed from 11:00 – 13:00 hours, on Tuesday, 21st October, 2014.

Management and Staff of Hilton Cyprus, fully supported this very worthy cause since the blood bank is always making requests for blood donations, as this disorder requires regular blood transfusions. This event is considered to be one of a series of ongoing efforts exerted by the hotel, to contribute to our Corporate social responsibility.

This donation is part of the ‘Global Week of Service’, which is very important for the family of Hilton Worldwide, thus illustrating how our Team Members fulfil our Vision, to spread the Hilton Light & Warmth of Hospitality, through their commitment and service, around the Globe!
