CYPRUS: President expected to visit Saudi Arabia

The Government of Cyprus has expressed its satisfaction about the decision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to accredit an Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, based in a neighboring country.
According to a written statement issued by the Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides, at the same time, the Republic of Cyprus intends to proceed with the establishment of a Diplomatic Mission in Saudi Arabia.

Simultaneously, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, responding to an invitation by the King of Saudi Arabia, is expected to visit the country. The date of the visit will be set through the diplomatic route, the statement concludes.
