APOEL FC in the list of top 1000 world clubs

The rankings were released on Wednesday by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

APOEL FC ranked 223rd in the list of world's clubs for the 21st century.

The list includes another four Cypriot football clubs, Anorthosis Ammochostos which ranked 317th, Omonia FC Lefkosia which ranked 334th, Apollon FC Lemesos which ranked 901st and AEK Larnaka which ranked 992nd.

FC Barcelona Espana, Manchester United FC England and Arsenal FC London are the top three teams of the world, according to IFFHS.
