Cyprus petroleum sales up 2.4% y/y in Jan-Sep

The total sales of petroleum products in September 2011 recorded an increase of 1.0% compared with the previous month.
The Statistical Service said that a “considerable” increase was recorded in the sales of asphalt, gasoil, gasoil low sulphur, kerosene and liquefied petroleum gases.
By contrast, a decrease was recorded in the sales of heavy fuel oil and aviation kerosene.
The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a decrease of 11.3% compared with the previous month.
During the period January – September 2011 total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 2.4% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
