There are still no signs that the car market will improve any time soon, with registrations of motor vehicles dropping for the 28th consecutive month in April.
Total registrations fell by 15.2% compared with the year earlier to reach 3,160, from 3,728 in April 2010.
In the first four months of 2011, registrations fell by 12.2% to 13,119, from 14,941 vehicles in the same period of 2010.
The fall in registrations of private saloon cars was even sharper, dropping by 13.7% to 9,389, from 10,882 in January-April 2010.
Motor vehicle registrations dropped by 12.5% in 2010 and 25.7% in 2009.
