Cyprus industrial production down 0.5% in May

The index of industrial production fell by 0.5% over the year earlier in May according to the latest figures from the Statistical Service.
The manufacturing index in the same period fell by 3.2%.
For the period January – May 2010 the index recorded dropped by 1.0% compared with the same period of the previous year.
Meanwhile, industrial output prices rose by 0.6% in June compared with May 2010 and manufacturing prices rose by 0.8%.
In January-June 2010 the prices index increased by 3.1% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
