Ad Board, Cyprus’ leading out of home media company with a 45% market share, along with their partners Clear Channel Interspace Airports, the world's leading marketer of airport and outdoor advertising, have recently launched the new media at Larnaca airport.
This new advertising showcase includes seamless displays which have been designed to fit in the new terminal at Larnaca that opened in November. The new 80mm depth displays with proprietary illumination and design, capture the attention of passengers every step of their airport experience through the check in hall, the security departures area and through the gate areas.
The new media digital programme, which was launched in cooperation with Scala includes a set of digital advertising screens in the check-in hall and outside the arrivals lounge, as well as the amorphous video wall and the cubicals at baggage claim.
“Following the recent opening of the new Larnaca airport, this state-of-the art media proves that we can take media in this country and neighboring countries to a new a level,” said Michael Kyriakides, Managing Director of Ad Board Media Group and designer of the new media.
The Ad Board Media Group and Clear Channel Interspace Airports joint venture was selected for exclusive advertising rights following a review that included 14 local and international bidders.
Ad Board Media is Cyprus’ leading out-of-home media and Clear Channel Outdoor is the world’s largest airport advertising operator with a total of some 300 airports in the US, Europe and Asia. Globally, Clear Channel airports provide 1.5 billion targeted advertising exposures annually.
With around 1000 faces of street furniture and outdoor advertising displays, and employing 30 people, the new venture will transform AdBoard into the dominant market leader in Cyprus.
