Cyprus construction materials prices down 6.3% y/y in Sep

The price index of construction materials for September 2009 reached 117.83 (base year 2005=100.00), recording an increase of 0.34% over the previous month.
However, compared with the same period of the previous year, construction prices were down by 6.3%.
For the period January – September 2009, the index recorded a decrease of 3.4% over the corresponding period of the previous year, compared with 3.1% in January-August.
