In his address, Executive Chairman Kikis Lefkaritis said that “competition was intense throughout the year”. He also highlighted that the local economic environment “did not allow the company to incorporate the highly volatile fluctuation of the international petroleum prices to its local retail prices”.
Lefkaritis thanked the directors and management, the staff and associates for their hard and continuous work, as well as all Cypriot consumers for their trust in the company and its products. “This trust,” emphasised Lefkaritis, “is for us a valuable source of energy that fuels our efforts to maintain a steady progress for the benefit of our shareholders and the entire economy of Cyprus as well.”
