Ouranios Ioannides elected President of Cyprus Olympic Committee

Ouranios Ioannides is the new President of the Cyprus Olympic Committee (COC).
Ioannides secured 21 votes, while his opponent and former President of COC Kikis Lazarides received 20 votes, during the elections that took place in the framework of the 28th COC General Assembly.
The newly elected President said after the elections that he will do his utmost “to meet the expectations of the Olympic Movement in Cyprus”.
Regarding the rest members of the Board, Demetris Lordos was reelected as Vice President, Charalambos Lottas was elected as Secretary General, and Damianos Hadjidamianou was reelected as Treasurer of the Cyprus Olympic Committee.
