FSA arrests eight in insider dealing probe

The Financial Services Authority, the UK's stock market regulator, said it had made eight arrests as part of an investigation into insider dealing rings.

The FSA said it has also exercised search warrants across London and the south east of England, backed by officers from the City of London police.

"Today's operation is part of the FSA's ongoing work to combat market abuse," the FSA said in a brief statement.
