Cyprus is participating in the ExpoZaragoza 2008 international exhibition, in Spain, with its own stall, presenting images and replicas of exhibits from the archaeological museum, linked to the culture of the island and water.
ExpoZaragoza 2008 is focusing this year on water and sustainable development and is being held from June 14 to September 14 in Zaragoza. Over six million visitors are expected to visit the exhibition, in which a total of 107 countries and all autonomous regions of Spain are participating.
Cyprus' stall occupies 160 square metres and presents images and replicas of exhibits from the archaeological museum, linked to the culture of the island and water. Furthermore, short films on the history, culture, tourist sites and the island's water policy and development are being shown to visitors.
The visitors will have the opportunity to be informed through interactive terminals and printed matter on a wide range of issues of interest, in English and Spanish.
