Redline Communications Group Inc., a leading provider of standards-based fixed and mobile WiMAX access and broadband wireless infrastructure products, has  introduced its full suite of RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX products.

Redline’s expanded family of 802.16e-2005 base stations units and subscriber devices for the 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz bands allows operators to select and deploy network elements that meet their specific network and business requirements.

The expanded RedMAX 4C family includes Redline’s 802.16e-2005-based chassis base station, which incorporates 2 x 2 MIMO antenna technology and delivers equal performance to competitive 4 x 2 systems, providing greater coverage and a lower absolute cost to operators. The chassis base station has been featured in customer trials and major events since May, 2007 and is being submitted for WiMAX Forum Certification.

The RedMAX 4C family also includes Redline’s new outdoor three-sector micro and single-sector pico and macro base stations. In addition, Redline will reveal its indoor pico base station which enables operators to reach more subscribers in diverse scenarios.
Redline’s RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX base station roadmap gives operators cost-effective options to build out their network. Operators can begin by
building a WiMAX network for initial coverage, optimize networks to support subscriber demand, expand to additional regions, and easily fill in any coverage and capacity gaps to maximize their return on investment. The new 802.16e-2005 offerings also includes a selection of subscriber devices designed to support the delivery of broadband wireless services for business, residential, or personal use.

As part of its REV Program, Redline has conducted private interoperability testing (IOT) with products from equipment manufacturers and applications providers. The REV program will also ensure interoperability with ASNgw and ASN controllers from a number of vendors, ensuring true open mobile WiMAX networks.
