Sanofi-aventis joing Dow Jones Sustainability World Index

Sanofi-aventis, one of the world leaders in the pharmaceutical industry, has entered the Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes (DJSI World), the leading global index tracking the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.

The DJSI World covers the top 10% of the biggest 2,500 companies in the Dow Jones World Index in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria.

This listing on the index recognizes the Group’s commitment to making sustainable development a powerful ongoing element in its business activities.

Sanofi-aventis thus ranks among the eight pharmaceutical leaders in terms of  sustainability according the DJSI World.
