Salamis Glory accident to affect results

Salamis Tours (Holdings) Public Ltd announced that the Cypriot-flagged cruise ship, Salamis Glory, of its subsidiary, Messaoria Shipping Co. Ltd, which was on a two-day cruise from Limassol to the Holy Land, was involved in an accident with a small ship during its sailing from the port of Haifa on August 30, 2007.
The ship carried 474 passengers and 178 crew members. The ship, the passengers and the crew members were fine and returned with the ship to the port of Haifa. The Company proceeded to all necessary actions for the return of all passengers to Cyprus.
The ship is still in Haifa, where the competent authorities are carrying out investigations on the conditions of the accident.
Salamis Glory is fully insured. The Group’s results will be affected negatively, mostly due to the cancellation of the scheduled cruises of the ship. So far, the Company has cancelled all scheduled cruises from August 31 to September 7, 2007. The Company will release new announcements when this is deemed necessary.
