M&A seminar

The Cyprus MBA Association, the Business Managers’ Association (KEADE) and the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEV) are jointly organizing a seminar on “Mergers and Acquisitions: Challenges and Risks” to be held on Thursday, April 26, at the Hilton Cyprus in Nicosia at 10am.

The purpose of the seminar is to inform business executives on the latest developments regarding the legislation and stock market rules as regards M&As.

The seminar will start with welcoming addresses by OEV General Manager Michalis Pilikos, Andreas Christofides, partner at KPMG who are the main sponsors of the event and Marios Tanoussis, president of the Cyprus MBA Association.

The main speakers will be Nondas Metaxas, General Manager of the Cyprus Stock Exchange who will elaborate on “The M&A experience so far”, followed by Yiorgos Charalambous, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission who will talk on “M&As and the protection of investors” and will conclude with Yiorgos Christophides, Chairman of the Competition Protection Commission who will discuss “The role of competition in a modern economy.”

An open discussion will follow with all three speakers, coordinated by Marios Tanoussis and will conclude with lunch.
