The Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), the island’s leading business school, is launching an innovative summer school for young people aged 16 to 22 to impart at a young age much needed management skills for study, life, and career. This personal and professional development workshop from July 2 to 14 will include three fun-filled hours a day, (10.30 – 14.30), Monday to Friday, culminating with a full day’s fun activity on July 14.

This is a custom made programme for students in the last grades of high school, or the first two years of college or university, but it is also ideal for working youth and young men doing their military service.

Classes will be held at the CIIM premises in Nicosia (next to KEMA in Aglandjia).

The CIIM Summer School has been designed ato help youngsters learn how to communicate more effectively, how to think more creatively and how to manage their time, money, workload and relationships more successfully.

The ten, tailor-made sessions address different needs of young people: from how to handle stress and conflicts, to how to create impressive CVs and handle interviews for study and employment; from how to recognize and tap opportunities to earn money and experience, to how to draw up a personal life and career plan.

Young people are expected to leave the workshop with renewed self-confidence in their ability to complete school and work tasks faster and more effectively, and to manage their personal affairs more successfully. At the same time, they will have practiced their English language and general communication skills, and they will have a new network of friends with shared interests. In order to facilitate interaction and networking, participants will be grouped in two separate teams: adolescents 16-18 and young adults 19-22.

Places on this course are limited and demand is strong. Interested young people should apply by April 30 to secure a place and to benefit from the 10% early registration discount.
