Baghdatis advances in Australian Open

Cypriot tennis player Marcos Baghdatis won his opening match at the Australian Open, beating German Rainer Schuettler 3-1 set.
Last year’s Australian Open finalist Marcos Baghdatis, 11th seed, eliminated the 2003 finalist Rainer Schuettler, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
In the second round, he will play either Frenchman Gael  Monfils or Daniele Bracciali.
