Cyprus industrial output prices up 4.7% in Jan-Sep

According to the Statistical Service Cystat, industrial output prices rose slightly in September, as the index reached 124.3 (base 2000=100), a rise of 0.3% compared with August 2006.

Compared with September 2005, total industrial output prices rose by 4.2%. Prices for export (5.9%) rose faster the prices for local consumption (3.9%).

For the period January-September 2006, industrial output prices rose by 4.7% compared with the same period of 2005.

Consumer prices during the same period rose by only 2.88%.

For manufacturing, the index for September 2006 reached 123.0 units, recording an increase of 3.4% compared to July 2005.
