BenQ-Siemens has announced the launch of five new models from its premium range of mobile phones in the UAE market. BenQ-Siemens’ new S88, S68, EF81, E61 and EL71 models offer supreme mobile technology with high lifestyle appeal.

The EF81 is a 15.9 mm thin folding mobile in a magnesium casing that boasts of a full UMTS functionality with two large colour displays and a swiveling camera for video telephony. It also features a 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom and 64 MB internal memory that can be extended to 1 GB using Micro-SD-Cards. The device comes with an integrated media player that supports all file formats and business applications such as Mobipocket Readers, Microsoft Bluetooth Remote Control and News2Mobile.
The E61 is a wedge-shaped mobile with a built-in music player for MP3 files and other formats. Its dedicated music buttons on the upper rim have earned it the IF-Design-Awards 2006, making it a trendy fashion accessory with a 2x/4x digital zoom VGA camera. The Data Cable USB DCA-130 enables exchange of songs, polyphonic ring tones and other files.
The 16.5 mm ultra-slim EL71 slider phone features a 2-inch QVGA display that glows in 262,144 colours. Along with a 1.3 megapixel LED photo light digital camera, it features a music player for MP3 and ACC++ music files and the Music Cable IHM-100 that allows connection to any hi-fi system.
The elegant S88 features an integrated 2.0 mega pixel, auto focus camera with a 16x digital zoom, a built-in editor and a LED photo light that takes clear pictures even in poor light conditions. Photos and videos show to brilliant advantage on its 2.0-inch Active Matrix OLED display featuring 262,144 colours and a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.
The S88 allows a 170 degree view angle, which makes it easier to share captured pictures or videos on the OLED display incorporating a high performance video camera that captures movie sequences of all lengths in MPEG4 format, an MP3 music player with superior quality 3D surround sound.
The S68 focuses on quality and clarity. The high-quality, 13 mm triband mobile dispenses with all the superfluous gadgets and concentrates on basic functions of mobile communication dominated by voice telephony. With bold graphic icons for easy operation, it features a 1.8 inch, large transflexive colour display, a dual speaker system, an integrated hands free function and 64-tone ring tones.
