Panel debate on International Crisis Group (ICG) report

A panel debate on the The Cyprus Stalemate: What Next? reported published on March 8, 2006 by International Crisis Group will be held at Ledra Palace at 10am today, Wednesday.

The debate will be hosted by the PRIO Cyprus Centre has been asked by the ICG to host the launch of the report.

PRIO Cyprus Centre notes that it has no view on the content of the report, and has taken no part in its writing or publication. In a strongly worded report, the IGC named President Tassos Papadopoulos as the main obstacle to a solution of the Cyprus problem.

Nicolas Whyte from ICG will present the report, followed by comments from a panel comprised of two Greek Cypriots and two Turkish Cypriots.
