Cyprus and Lebanon sign cooperation agreement in tourism

Cyprus and Lebanon signed Beirut an agreement of cooperation in the field of tourism on in Beirut on Monday, aiming develop further bilateral cooperation in tourist affairs, Cyprus Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism George Lillikas told CNA.

The agreement was signed in Beirut between Lillikas, who is paying an official visit to Lebanon, and Lebanese Minister of Tourism Joseph Sakris.

The Cypriot minister discussed with Sakris and tour operators a wide range of issues related to cooperation in the tourist sector between the two neighbouring countries.

On Tuesday, Lillikas was received by Prime Minister Fuad Siniora, with whom he discussed the issue of the exclusive economic zone.

He also had meetings with Lebanese Ministers of Finance, Commerce and Industry and Transports and Environment, with whom he will discuss ways of cooperation aiming at enhancing economic relations.
