Controlling sound by remote control

Trust introduces a trendy, 5.1 channel speaker set with a compact, wireless remote control and a practical input for connecting, for example, an MP3 player without having to turn on a computer.

The new Trust 5.1 Surround Speaker Set SP-6600A combines an attractive white design with a handy, wireless remote control. A home cinema can be easily created by connecting this surround sound speaker set to a stand-alone DVD player or a PC with an analogue 5.1 sound output. Connecting the set to an Xbox, PlayStation or GameCube results in stereo sound which is divided across all the speakers, so that gaming becomes an intense experience. The wooden, 18 Watt subwoofer, with bass-reflex design, produces a deep bass. Together with the slim, 5 Watt surround sound speakers, a very realistic sound is produced. Using the small, wireless remote control, the sound can be muted at the press of a button and the front, rear and centre speakers can all be adjusted separately.

The receiver for the remote control has an aluminium foot and LED indicators for every sound channel. There is also a practical 3.5 mm audio input for connecting, for example, an MP3 player without having to turn on a computer. The trendy speakers are magnetically shielded, so that they can be placed next to a computer monitor. Together with the wooden subwoofer, the speaker set has a frequency range of 60 – 17,000 Hz.

The Trust 5.1 Surround Speaker Set SP-6600A comes supplied with three sound cables (3.5 mm stereo DIN connector) for connecting the set to a computer, three 3.5 mm stereo cinch L+R cables for connecting to a game console, and a DIN-DIN cable for connecting the receiver to the subwoofer. Batteries for the remote control, a cable for an MP3 player and a multi-language instruction manual are also included. The speaker set will be available from the beginning of October.
