ICT developers in demand

Microsoft Country Manager in Cyprus George Lakkotrypis says that among the ICT professions, the main growth in demand is for infrastructure applications.

“That means Windows Servers, Exchange Servers, SQL Servers which are widely used and have a very large customer base,” said Lakkotrypis.

For this kind of infrastructure there are two certificates, the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).

“Also on the rise are the developer certifications on .Net and business applications like Navision (a financial package) and CRM (customer relationship management)”.

Microsoft offers a range of certificates through training and educational centres which are authorised by Microsoft and through a range of eLearning CDs.
