CyTA has reduced its prices for broadband access to the Internet in an effort to encourage more people to shift to broadband following its new tariffs policy that is set to go into effect from June 1, 2005.

CyTA is rolling out its broadband i-choice service and also reducing its price for its high definition miVision service, while providing additional special offers for existing and new customers.

The new offer will run concurrently with the No-Connection-Charge offer that currently applies for i-choice 256/512/1000 (worth 40 CYP) and miVision (worth 50 CYP) products.

For existing i-choice & miVision customers, price reductions and special offers will take place automatically. CyTA announced that the monthly rental for i-choice 256 is now reduced to CYP 9, the i-choice 512 to CYP 12, the i-choice 1000 to CYP 15, while for i-choice business lite the price is reduced to CYP 30 and for i-choice business the price is reduced to CYP 45 per month, excluding VAT.

For the i-choice 256/512 & 1000 the connection fee of CYP 40 is waived but the connection fees for i-choice business lite amounting to CYP 40 and i-choice business CYP 100 are valid.

miVision Special Offer

Existing i-choice & miVision subscribers will enjoy miVision for free for 6 months, CyTA announced as part of its effort to drum up new subscribers during the International State Fair.

Customers that currently subscribe to either i-choice or miVision, by taking up the other service, may enjoy miVision service for 8 months for only a CYP 20 advance payment.

New customers that subscribe to both i-choice and miVision, may enjoy miVision service for 8 months for only a CYP 20 advance payment.
