World’s greatest artists on your desktop

InterFrontiers – Focus interActive have teamed up with the National Gallery in London to produce a CD-ROM encyclopaedia of the Greatest Artists.

High resolution images of the world’s most important works of art are stored on this CD-ROM with additional features of how, when and why these works were created.

Importance has been given to detail with slow motion movies or zoom to see greater detail in each painting.

Other features include a historical chronology of art and artists in Europe and the world, 1000 images, 40 paintings from the National Gallery, a 20 minute tutorial on painting and 100 pieces of music.
