Green Line trade reported at CYP 495,000

The total value of products sold from northern Cyprus to the south via the Green Line regulation has amounted to CYP 495,000 since trade started in August 2004, according to sources, compared with exports of USD 50 mln (about CYP 25 mln) per year from the ports in the north.

The main products sold are watermelons, aluminium doors and windows, lead, some textiles, toilet paper, paint stone and mosaics.
