Cyprus trade deficit at EUR 446 mln in July

On the basis of preliminary estimates for foreign trade in July 2007, total imports/ arrivals reached CYP 310.0 mln, of which CYP 205.5 mln were arrivals from other member states of EU and CYP 104.8 mln imports from third countries.
Total exports/dispatches amounted to CYP 49.0 mln, of which CYP 32.1 mln were dispatches to other member states of the EU and CYP 16.9 mln were exports to third countries.
The preliminary trade deficit was thus CYP 261 mln (EUR 445.9 mln) in July.
