Mellon Romania wins gold at Contact Center World Awards

Mellon Romania S.A., provider of value added services and advanced technological solutions to financial institutions and other big organizations in Romania, announced today its nomination in 4 categories during the 2nd Annual Contact Center World Awards, ‘Best of the Best in EMEA’.

Competing with some of the biggest in-house and outsourced contact centers in the region, the company received one gold award in the Best Outbound Campaign category, and another three bronze awards for Best Contact Center (51-250 agents), Best Contact Center Agent, and Best Contact Center Trainer. For the Best Outbound Campaign, Mellon Romania presented the project it run on behalf of Banca Romaneasca, regarding the promotion of the bank’s very competitive offering of pre-approved credit cards.

The Annual Contact Center World Awards covered 9 categories and 3 regions. Overall, participants from 61 countries across the globe entered the competition in one or more of the 9 award categories. Mellon Romania was the only contact center from Romania to pass the judging process and be included in the finalist ranking, claiming a gold, silver or bronze award.

The awards were presented on a special gala which took place on July 24 and 25 in London.
