Louis ship grazes pier

A Louis Pcl (LUI) cruise ship, the Serenade was slightly damaged when it grazed the pier while docking at the Greek island of Tinos, the company said. A Louis spokesman said while the Serenade was entering the port it “touched off the dock”.
The incident caused a small hole on the left side of the ship’s bow above the water line, but was not described as serious.
The Serenade was on a seven-day cruise from Limassol to the Greek islands with 671 passengers, mainly Cypriots, and 258 crew members.
The spokesman said the cruise programme was only delayed by about an hour.
