Freecom records $ 200 mln in global revenues

Freecom, the leading European IT manufacturer in the field of storage solutions, has announced its foray into the Middle East and North African market. Freecom, which had recorded US$ 200 mln in global revenues in 2006, has appointed PRO TECHnology, the leading integrator of storage and high availability solutions in the Middle East, as the sole distributor for its products in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Freecom range currently includes external hard drives, flash-memory units, DVD burners and professional storage systems targeted at both end-users and business customers.
