Cyprus to sign double avoidance tax deal with Finland

The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus approved the text of an agreement with Finland to avoid double taxation. The Council of Ministers, which convened under President Tassos Papadopoulos, authorised the Minister of Finance Michalis Sarris to sign the agreement on behalf of the Republic.
The agreement will contribute to the development of commercial and economic relations between Cyprus and Finland and is expected to prove beneficial for maritime business as well as the management of shares, interest and intellectual property rights and the exchange of information.
Furthermore, the Council of Ministers approved the signing of an agreement with the Ukraine on tourism and authorised the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Antonis Michaelides to sign it on behalf of the Republic.
