Marfin Popular to list new shares

The CSE Council announced that it has accepted the listing of 24,502,416 ordinary shares of Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd of nominal value CYP0.50, which have been allocated as an exchange for the acquisition of 1,105,408 shares of Marfin Financial Group SA and the acquisition of 1,209,505 shares of Laiki Bank (Hellas) SA.
The shares will be incorporated in the already listed share capital of the Company, which will rise to 796,682,764 shares. Trading commenced on Monday, April 23, 2007.
