Industrial output prices up 4.5% in Jan-Oct

According to the Statistical Service Cystat, industrial output prices rose slightly in October, as the index reached 124.0 (base 2000=100), a rise of 0.2% compared with September 2006.

For the period January-October 2006, industrial output prices rose by 4.5% compared with the same period of 2005. Prices for export (5.1%) rose faster in this period than prices for local consumption (4.4%).

By industrial sector, prices of electricity, gas and water rose by 15.9% in January-October, prices of mining rose by 4.1% and prices of manufacturing rose by 3.0%.
