OPAP gross receipts at CYP 53.4 mln

OPAP Cyprus Ltd., the subsidiary of the Greek gaming giant reported that its gross receipts during 2005 amounted to CYP 53.4 mln. OPAP Cyprus General Manager Glafkos Charmanta said that of this amount, OPAP paid CYP 33.08 mln as game winning, CYP 5.14 mln were transferred to the government and CYP 534.000 given as grants to associations, clubs and in support of athletic and cultural events.

During the presentation of its results, OPAP Cyprus awarded eight of its agents serving the company since 1969 as well as ten agents with the highest return compared to 2004.
