Vassiliko declares 1.5 cent interim dividend

Vassiliko Cement Works (VCW) declared a 1.5 cent per share interim dividend following the release of its nine month results. Although the net profit was higher compared to the previous year, the Board of VCW decided to play it safe and declared a lower interim compared to a year ago, when at the interim stage, the dividend had been 2 cent per share.

The total dividend for both 2003 and 2004 was 3.5 cent per share.

According to an official statement, the records date was set for Dec. 5, meaning trades from Dec. 1-4 will be ex-interim dividend, while the payment date has been set for December 21.

Based on the current price of CYP 1.22, the interim dividend yield amounts to 1.23%.
