MONEYVAL has not yet set a date for publicising its report on Cyprus, according to the Council of Europe media office.

The media office contacted CNA to say that the report on Cyprus would be published but that a date had not yet been set and it was not likely that this would happen next week, noting that the report Eurogroup requested was the one that had been issued in June. The report expected to be issued refers to the monitoring of the implementation.

CNA sources had said on Saturday that the report was expected to be publicised next week, with an evaluation of the effectiveness of the measures implemented by the Republic of Cyprus in its banking sector.

MONEYVAL will be convening next week and issues on the draft agenda are the report with evaluations for Cyprus, the Holy See and Israel.
