An estimated two thousand passengers traveling to and from Cypriot airports will be affected by tomorrow’s four-hour work stoppage, which Air Traffic Controllers have announced in Greece.

The strike will start at noon and last until 16.00, affecting 15 flights, of which seven departures and eight arrivals.

Speaking at Larnaca international airport, Cyprus airports spokesman Adamos Aspris said that of the 15 flights, eight have been cancelled, adding that five will be rescheduled, while arrangements have been made for the remaining two, in order to conduct flights with bigger aircrafts after the end of the strike.

Aspris called on passengers to contact the affected airliners Cyprus Airways, Olympic Air and Aegean, in order to get additional information.
