Austrian Foreign Minister to visit Cyprus

Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger is arriving on Thursday, March 24, in Cyprus, on an official visit where he will meet his Cypriot counterpart and UN officials.

According to an official announcement, Spindelegger will be accompanied by Austrian Ministry officials and will be received at Larnaca airport by Chief of Protocol Ioanna Malliotis and Austrian Ambassador in Cyprus Martin Weiss.

During his visit, Spindelegger will hold a meeting with Cyprus Foreign Minister Markos Kyprianou. Following the meeting, the two Ministers will head the respective delegations, holding official talks and will talk afterwards to the press.

The Austrian Foreign Minister will also meet Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Cyprus Lisa Buttenheim and Special Adviser of the Secretary-General for Cyprus, Alexander Downer, the announcement concludes.
