Wall Street down on renewed Greek worries

U.S. stocks fell at the open on Thursday with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq dipping more than 1 percent as Greece once again soured risk appetite with more news on its deteriorating financial position.

The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI) was down 88.65 points, or 0.80 percent, at 11,036.27. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index (.SPX) was down 12.71 points, or 1.05 percent, at 1,193.23. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC) was down 27.62 points, or 1.10 percent, at 2,476.99.
