Cyprus US Chamber of Commerce holds elections

The Cyprus U.S. Chamber of Commerce held its membership meeting on September 14, 2009 at the Cyprus House in New York, hosted by the Cyprus Trade Commission. The meeting reviewed the Chamber’s activities and elected the Board of Directors and officers for the next two years.

The outgoing President, Peter Kakoyiannis, thanked everyone for their participation in all of the Chamber’s activities and reported on the Chamber’s events.

The Chairman, Andreas Comodromos, also gave a brief report on the Chamber’s role in the community.

Dennis Droushiotis, was elected as the new president of the Chamber by a unanimous vote.
Elected Officers are, Chairman, Andreas D. Comodromos, Vassos Vassiliou, Secretary, Nick Karacostas, Kyriacos Skevas.

The following have been elected to the Board of Directors: Peter Kakoyiannis, Philip Christopher Renos Georgiou, Charis Lapas, Nikos Mouyiaris, Peter Papanicolaou, Theo David, Joanna Savvides, Theana Iordanou, Costa Kensington.
