Israel is 5th largest exporter to Cyprus

According to the figures issued recently by the Statistical Service of Cyprus, total imports from Israel for 2008 reached EUR 590,209,000 – an increase of approximately 45% compared to 2007.
Israel is now the 5th largest exporter to Cyprus. Total exports to Israel from Cyprus are currently in the region of EUR 13,750,000 (includes products manufactured in other countries & exported to Israel).
The main exports of Israel to Cyprus include mineral fuels and oils, household paper, plastics, machinery and mechanical appliances, iron/steel/stone/plaster/cement products and glass.
The majority of the buyers of Israeli goods are the home supplies stores and the do-it-yourself (DIY) stores.
